Home » North Attleboro

Homes around North Attleboro are not all built the same. The community includes historic areas such as Oldtown and the Town Center, along with established residential areas around Attleborough Falls. That mix can mean very different heating systems, plumbing layouts, electrical capacity, and cooling needs from one property to the next.

Landry Mechanical serves North Attleboro homeowners with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and drain and sewer service. With several trades available through one company, homeowners can get help with a failed furnace, weak AC, leaking water heater, electrical problem, or backed-up drain without calling several separate contractors.

HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical & Drain Services in North Attleboro, MA

Heating & Cooling

Cold Massachusetts winters keep heating equipment working for long stretches, while summer heat can quickly expose an air conditioner that is already losing capacity. State energy data show that space heating accounts for a large share of household energy use in Massachusetts because of the region’s cooler climate.

Older homes and additions can bring another challenge. Some spaces may have limited ductwork, uneven temperatures, or equipment installed during different renovations, making system selection and repair needs more specific to the property.

  • For repair, maintenance, replacement planning, and general HVAC services, Landry Mechanical works with several types of home comfort equipment.

  • Weak airflow, warm rooms, or longer cooling cycles can signal that it is time for professional cooling service.

  • An aging system that can no longer cool the house evenly may be ready for AC installation.

  • A sudden cooling failure during hot weather can be addressed through AC repair.

  • Furnaces, boilers, and other equipment can be maintained or repaired through professional heating services.

  • Repeated cycling, unusual furnace noises, or rooms that stay cold may point to the need for furnace repair.

  • When an older unit has reached the point where replacement makes more sense, furnace installation can match new equipment to the home’s heating needs.

  • Homeowners considering electric heating and cooling can explore heat pump installation.

  • Older properties, additions, finished basements, and other spaces without practical duct access may be candidates for ductless mini-splits.

Book heating or cooling service when your North Attleboro system starts struggling to keep up.

Plumbing

North Attleboro plumbing problems can range from an ordinary leaking fixture to frozen piping, failed water heaters, or aging household lines. Older properties deserve particular attention when leaks begin appearing in finished walls, basements, or around fixtures that have been in place for many years.

Hot water problems can also develop gradually. A tank that takes longer to recover, produces inconsistent temperatures, or shows moisture around its base should be checked before the problem becomes more disruptive.

  • Leaks, damaged piping, fixture trouble, low pressure, and other household problems can be addressed through plumbing repair services.

  • Inconsistent temperatures, a leaking tank, or loss of hot water may require water heater repair.

  • Damp walls, ceiling stains, cabinet moisture, or unexplained water can be investigated through water leak repair.

Schedule plumbing service when a leak, hot water problem, or pipe issue starts interfering with your home.

Electrical

Electrical demand has changed considerably in many homes. Central air systems, heat pumps, renovated kitchens, home offices, finished basements, and electric vehicles can all add loads that were not part of an older property’s original electrical plan.

That can be especially relevant around a community with long-established neighborhoods and historic properties. North Attleborough’s Oldtown Historic District includes buildings representing several centuries of development, while the Town Center also contains historically recognized structures.

  • Outlets, switches, circuits, panels, lighting, and other household power needs are covered through Landry Mechanical’s electrical services.

  • Breakers that trip repeatedly, dead outlets, flickering lights, or unexplained power issues can be diagnosed through electrical repair and troubleshooting.

  • Homeowners switching to an electric vehicle can schedule EV charger installation and have available electrical capacity reviewed before the charger is added.

Arrange electrical service when recurring power problems or new equipment start putting more demand on your home.

Drain & Sewer

A slow sink or shower is usually easy to notice. Problems farther down a drain or sewer line may be less obvious until several fixtures begin draining slowly, toilets gurgle, or wastewater starts backing up.

North Attleborough also has a mix of wastewater setups. The town notes that homes not connected to a public sewer most likely use septic systems, so knowing how a property handles wastewater matters when tracking down a recurring drainage problem.

  • Household clogs, recurring backups, and underground piping problems can be addressed through drain and sewer services.

  • Hair, soap residue, grease, and other debris can build up inside piping and may require professional drain cleaning.

  • Heavy buildup inside suitable piping may respond to hydro jetting, which uses pressurized water to clean the interior of the line.

  • When the cause of repeated backups is unclear, a sewer camera inspection can provide a direct look inside the pipe.

Get drain or sewer service scheduled when clogs keep returning or several fixtures begin backing up at the same time.

Ivan came to my house to do my fall maintenance service. You can't ask for a better person! He explained everything he was doing as he did it. Felt more at ease with him testing the part of the systems he was checking, knowing the values that the systems need to run at, and making sure they are working.

I will be asking for him from now on to service my system.

What did I pay? I pay $20 a month for a service contract and get 2 maintenance checkups, per year, free. Also an emergency call is a flat fee of $299 or $399 each call (Can't remember which one it was). If you have the contract, you pay $99 for the call, plus whatever work and parts they need.

Great company as long as they have people like Ivan. I only gave him 5 stars because i was prevented from giving him 10 stars.

Working with Landry was very easy. I most appreciate that they send a picture of the technicians, along with a background check clearance before anyone comes to the house. Friendly, professional, and thorough. Cost is given up front with no surprises.

I had a leaking connection on my water heater. The technician came and assessed and gave me options to repair or replace but said I could probably get a few more years out of the tank. He provided 3 quotes. Repair only. Replace with new tank. Replace with a tankless water heater. No push to go with. Full replacement which I appreciated. Friendly, professional, respect for my property. All things I look for.

I had a fantastic experience with Sam and Nick from Landry. Both were highly professional electricians who went above and beyond.

They took the time to clearly explain the safety benefits of arc fault breakers, which was incredibly helpful. Their expertise was proven almost immediately when one of the new breakers tripped, signaling a real issue in my home's wiring. Sam and Nick quickly troubleshot the problem, identified some poor workmanship from a previous contractor, and fixed it on the spot. Once repaired, the breaker worked perfectly.

They also moved an outlet over to another wall for me and did a beautiful, seamless job. I highly recommend Landry Mechanical, and specifically Sam and Nick, for any electrical needs in the Worcester area!

We came home from vacation to find that our hot water heater had died and was leaking all over our utility room. I called up Landry, and they had a technician come out within about an hour, and we had a new hot water heater a few hours later! They were extremely professional and thorough, and left our house clean. We will definitely use them again!

Landry have done absolutely outstanding work again. I've written prior positive reviews, so I won't go into detail here. Landry replaced two large pressure tanks in our water treatment system. In summary: Extremely pleasant trustworthy reliable workers. This time they threw in replacement of a leaking water intake pipe - copper with brass fittings - for free.

Landry Mechanical just wrapped up the installation of a heat pump at my home. Normally, I’m not a testimonial giver, but I was so pleased with the team who came and the service I received that I felt compelled to do it this time. Wonderful transparency throughout the entire process – – from assistance with paperwork through scheduling, and then through the installation itself…. And then, before they left, ensuring I was comfortable with the equipment, including how to use the new thermostat.

The entire time the crew was on site, they were incredibly focused on delivering a quality product along with a quality installation, and took great care to ensure they kept our home clean of debris, both inside and out.

I’m not planning on a second heat pump for the other zone in my house, but if the need does arise, I know I will be calling Landry Mechanical again.

I had technicians Nick and Ricky at my house today to install hot water heater. These gentlemen are first class, extremely courteous, very nice to work with. And in my 130 year old house they were thrown curveball after curveball and knocked it out of the park every time. These guys did a great job.I recommend Landry Mechanical any day of the week.

Landry helped to resolve a problem with my boiler quickly. The initial evaluation showed the new boiler was working fine but lacked the electrical connected needed to fire up. Thankfully, Landry offers electrical services too so another tech was able to quickly wire a new connection and get us fired up in time for the cold. Thanks for the great service! Both technicians were friendly and knowledgeable
