I’ve had an ongoing HVAC service contract with Landry Mechanical for a while now, and the experience has been a bit mixed.

On the positive side, their field technicians are excellent. The crews are clearly very experienced and professional. Most recently, Drew Sanford serviced my HVAC system — he was knowledgeable, thorough, and did a great job. Interactions like that are the reason I’ve stayed with them.

However, their scheduling and appointment system is quite frustrating. Getting an appointment can be difficult, and I’ve had to reschedule multiple times. They often don’t provide a clear ETA, and while they sometimes offer money or credits to reschedule, it still creates a lot of hassle. The back-and-forth calls and uncertainty make the overall experience stressful.

I was actually considering switching providers because of the scheduling issues, but after my recent service with Drew, I decided to stay — mainly because the ground crews are genuinely strong. If Landry Mechanical improves their scheduling and communication, the overall experience would be significantly better.

When it comes to replacing propane boilers. Look for a second opinion 25k for a boiler and more is crazy when just our boiler needed replacing is scandalous.

Landry Mechanical electricians Michael and Josh were very accommodating for us in the replacement of over 10 fixtures containing fussy crystals in some. they did a great job, they were prompt, clean, and very respectful of the building. I used this plumbing service a couple of days ago. The quality of the work was good, and the technician was efficient. However, the pricing felt quite high for the amount of time spent. I requested a water valve replacement, which took about 20 minutes and cost $500. They also identified another leaking issue with the sink disposal and replaced it in about half an hour for an additional $1,000. Overall, the work was done well, but the costs were much higher than expected.

The technician identified the issue and proposed options to resolve it.

Randy was very knowledgable, answered all my questions, knew when to ask a supervisor a question to be sure he performed the work appropriately, professional and friendly.

Everything about my experience was fantastic; from the technicians, to the finance team and especially the representatives. Our mini split compressor died in the middle of the coldest streak this winter and they got it fixed within two weeks, which included getting approved for financing the work. 2026 Update: Today I had an awesome plumber from Landry. Randy came out to a home we bought ten days ago. We had nothing working in the bathroom and an ancient something or other in the basement. He said 3 hours to fix the 3 things. He did it in two hours, all while answering my unending questions about my new home. 2025 update: Had Aaron out to fix out heater, he was great, he set out three options like Landry always does and gave good advice dor our situation. When he changed a part he found that the old one was working good enough for an emergency and left it labeled with a date on it. He was so organized and knowledgeable. 2022:These guys fixed so much stuff I didn't know existed and brought everything up to code. They put in a new water heater that I never have to worry about and some water pressure control thingamajig and fixed the insane vent thingy the former owner of my apt made out of chimney parts.

Mike Dowd, an electrician from Landry Electrical, recently installed a baseboard heater in our new bathroom. This involved running wire from our panel to the bathroom and installing a separate thermostat. He was clean, orderly, on time and very professional. He explained beforehand what needed to be done and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. Thanks Mike.

The technician was very friendly but also responsible and professional.

Drew came to do my annual maintenance, he was professional and courteous. I needed some repair and he was very knowledgeable and was able to do same day. I have always had great service with all the technicians.

Needed a motor replaced on our boiler exhaust. They were quick to come out and service people were excellent. Only downside was cost was much higher than expected.

I had emergency call related to my boiler leaking issues and they immediately responded to my call and resolved the problem. Given me options and pleasant.

Eddy was efficient and went through options on different services they provide. Very respectful. Great service!!!

Nick G. did awesome job replaced our water heater, facets and switch, he worked hard and very patient explained the questions we asked.

Great service, very professional. I called late on a Friday afternoon when my 95 year old dad's boiler failed when temperatures were well below freezing. When I told them he had no heat, they quickly dispatched a technician.

We did a new HVAC system with Landry and they were super helpful and very responsive. Appreciate the work and communication. Overall the price was on the higher end of my quotes.

Called Landry at 11pm because we had no hot water. Automated system worked pretty well, but not perfect. Received a call at 7:30am to confirm issue and to schedule a technician. Received multiple texts keeping me updated, including when the tech was en route AND a picture of the tech. Tech arrived by 10am, diagnosed the problem, and provided multiple options. Part was readily available at a local warehouse. Tech returned with new part and had the hot water running within a half an hour. Everything completed by noon. Found our new go to company! Thank you Colin for the upfront, honest, quick service!

Mike did not perform any service. He came and provided a quote for a whole house generator. He was very thorough in his explanation, reasoning and needs for the installation. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain concerns that arose. My only issue was with Landry and not Mike. I am interested in having a whole house generator installed, which, for me, means include all of the elements. However I would have to contact a propane company to have then provide the cost estimate for the tanks and connections as well as coordinating the time frame to coincide with the generator installation. My intent was hopefully to engage a company that would be responsible for the total installation. .

We had the Landry Palmer’s out to install an under sink instant hot water dispenser. It was reasonably priced and Mike did a great job, but unfortunately it didn’t work. So the very next day the plumbers were on the case again and after Spending considerable time and effort, it still didn’t work. So we called up the company that we got it from they promptly sent us a new one and Landry came to the rescue again. Thank you for your professional, Respectful and reliable service.

Furnace cleaning great professional service

After a power outage my geothermal unit would not cycle back to operational. Called Landry as they did some previous work for me. Even late in the evening my tech Louis Recine arrived and within an hour got our heat back to operational. Louis was very informative and friendly and made recommendations on how to improve the system. Louis and Landry came through again and I would recommend 10/10 times.

We had to have major pipe repair/replacement done in the basement. Our technician Matt was very knowledgeable and very clear with our alternatives. They completed the work efficiently and timely. Would highly recommend them!

Furnace wasn't setup properly when first installed. Ended up costing me thousands more over a couple years in electrical vs propane heating fuel. Fortunately Samy listened to my issue thoroughly and was able to find the issue. He also provided a backup setting in case the issue persisted. He was friendly and professional. Landry also waived the service fee, although they did come last year within the warranty for the same issue and didn't fix it then, so this is understandable.

I cannot recommend Landry Mechanical enough. We happened to have issues with our heater the week before our newborn baby was due. We had the entire HVAC replaced to a heat pump which happened to overlap with the week we brought our newborn home. The project took 5 days and every single person who came into our home was kind, courteous, respectful and cognizant of our new baby. Josh, the project leader was amazing. Highly communicative, super nice, and respectful. There was alot of work going on but the team made it into the best possible situation it could have been. We are extremely grateful. The heat has been working great!

As always, Landry provided professional service, Joe and Natasha were very thorough with the inspection of my AC system and identified a contractor and capacitor they were getting bad on one of the units. They provided several options and were prepared with the parts on the service vehicle the same day. Both Joe and Natasha were very courteous and professional.

We had a slow draining tub and George came to diagnose the issue. We had used a snake but couldn't locate any clog. George was incredible. He put down the drain a chemical that had to sit overnight and followed his instructions to wait until the morning , fill up tub, and drain. The clog does seem to be gone now and water is draining properly. The only complaint we have is that we thought the pricing was a little high for the service performed.

Exceptional service for our steam heat - our technician was highly knowledgeable and we have even, well-balanced heat for the first time in many years.

I needed a repeat for a light fixture install that went bad and took out power to my garage. Mike and Josh showed up first thing in the morning and immediately spotted the issue and restored power, installed the light fixtures and also replaced a transformer for a video doorbell. All the work was clearly explained and done quickly and cleanly. So, I was very pleased with the experience and the electricians and will be calling Landry again next time I need some work done!

We've used Landry for about a months now. They installed our heat pump system and now came for the checkup as well as maintenance for our has boiler. Everyone from Landry has been super nice as well as professional. Work is done quickly with info up front on how much things will cost. We are so glad we chose Landry!

Mr. Humphrey sorted out the problem quickly - out of propane. So, I got on to the dealer quickly. I was glad the tankless water heater unit was fine. The unit was less than a year old so still under warranty.

I got a quote a couple years ago for a hot water tank install and it was going to be $2,000. We didn't really have the money at the time but now we do and had them come out and give us an estimate on December 31st 2025 and the quote was $3,790. I feel like this is absolutely extreme. I looked up the hot water tank online the hot water tank cost $1,040 which means that they're charging $2,700 for labor. The two gentlemen who came here were very professional so my low score has nothing to do with their service people. So we are getting other estimates which is too bad because we would have absolutely gone with them but $2,700 for labor is insane. I expected that prices would go up over the last couple years but not double. I think that this company is a little bit expensive my advice is shop around we have other people coming out to give us quotes and I'm sure that we will find something much cheaper.

Sam and Nick did an outstanding job of replacing my bathroom fan this morning. They were very knowledgeable, personable, and efficient, completing the job quickly. They left the place spotless. The fan works great, much quieter than the old one.

Our 50 gallon electric water heater failed on Sunday, four days before Christmas. Plumber Paul Mullen came quickly and determined the tank had failed. He went to the shop and returned with Alex and the two worked efficiently to install a replacement. They were courteous and a pleasure to have.

I was very grateful that the technician came out after 8:00 PM to troubleshoot. He provided a clear assessment of repairs that were needed in a house more than 60 years old. I appreciated the fact that he included prices for each item, too.

Sam did a great job! We got text messages during the day when he was on his way.

My first experience with the Laundry Mechanical inc Plumbing HVAC, and it was very helpful regarding my concerns and the feedback from the technician.

This is the second time we have used Landry Mechanical, specifically coming back to them due to our initial experience with them.. This 2nd job, a bathroom remodel requiring some electrical updates for new heated flooring, lighting and extractor fan changes etc was larger than our previous electrical issue (original dishwasher and garbage disposal wiring in a 20 year old house).. And once again we have to say we are beyond satisfied with the work, demenaour and overall flexability of the team.. Our initial estimate was provided over a month ago.. We did say at the time we were doing a lot of the reno ourselves but plumbing and electrical we wanted done properly with permits so it was not going to be a tommorrow job for them.. So as mentioned about a month post estimate I reached out to them to ask if Mike could call me so I could ask a couple of questions. He was happy to talk with me and answered all my queries.. The Monday of the following week we received the thermostat for the heated flooring. I called their office and asked if they could schedule Mike to come do the work... 2 days later (today) he was here with Josh and again clarified everything they were going to do and by early afternoon they had completed everything, tidied up and were ready to head out... Overall great service and assiatance/attention to detail throughout.. Will def be using them again. Even joined their membership program :-).

Professional. Outstanding service. My wife and are were in Florida and we had an issue with a freezing pipe outside the house creating a hockey rink in our driveway. Our kids called us to alert us and Landry came right out. Diagnosed the issue and had it fixed right away. The tech was fast, efficient and professional. Could not be more happy.

Very professional very nice took the time to replace an item in my bathroom sink didn’t charge me for it also helped me with a device that was attached to my washing machine that needed to be detached which they didn’t hesitate to help me with, but the biggest thing was when they came into the house And handed me my brother’s wallet that had cash in it. Jorge Gonzales from Landry arrived on time today to check out the faucet in my shower. I was not getting enough hot water but all other faucets were fine. He quickly found that the rubber gasket on the cartridge had deteriorated, replaced it, and left my shower as clean as he found it. Jorge was courteous, friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to have him come and do additional work for me. Landry is lucky to have him!

Outstanding Service!! Our company had a main drain clog, and it was important that we get the line open so we could use the building. Within 1 hr. they had a team over lead by Matt S. and he walked us through the entire process. We even got to look through the pipe camera to see the condition of the pipe after it was cleared. And no, it did not cost us an arm and a leg! Considering the quick service, not losing down time from work and the work they did, it was reasonable. What I like about Landry Mechanical: 1. They have dedicated staff to take your call or you can book online. They are VERY proactive about calling you back. 2. Both times I used them they booked me quickly. 3. They actually show up when they say they are going to and send you a photo of the person coming, which is nice for security reasons. 4. They do good work! My last technician was so personable as well! UPDATE: I'm now on my third visit from them. I have an old house with old plumbing. My review is the same - a very positive experience. They are responsive and fit you in!

Another great experience with Landry Mechanical. I use them for plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs, and they are always fast to respond and exceptionally professional. Today I had some plumbing done on an emergency basis based on a leaking toilet that was flowing from an upstairs bathroom down to the lower floor. Randy Kyle showed up on Sunday afternoon and quickly assessed the situation and within a few hours had a new toilet installed, a new shut off valve and left the entire bathroom area spotless and ready to go!
