HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical & Drain Services in Mansfield, MA

Home » Mansfield

Mansfield homes ask a lot from their mechanical systems. Cold New England winters put furnaces and heat pumps to work for months, while humid summer stretches can expose weak AC performance quickly. Around Mansfield Center, South Common, East Mansfield, and West Mansfield, homes also vary considerably in age, layout, utility connections, and equipment needs. Mansfield’s planning documents identify these distinct areas and continued development around the town center.

Landry Mechanical serves Mansfield with heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, and drain and sewer service under one roof. That makes it easier to handle a failing furnace, leaking water heater, electrical problem, or stubborn drain without juggling several contractors.

HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical & Drain Services in Mansfield, MA

Heating & Cooling

Mansfield homeowners need heating equipment that can handle long periods of cold weather and cooling systems that are ready when summer humidity settles in. A system that seems fine during a mild spring day can behave very differently during a January cold spell or a hot July afternoon.

Homes near the older town center may also present different comfort challenges than newer properties or additions. Limited duct space, uneven room temperatures, aging equipment, and converted living areas can all affect which HVAC setup makes sense.

  • For whole-home diagnosis, maintenance, replacement planning, and general HVAC services, Landry Mechanical works with several types of heating and cooling equipment.

  • Weak airflow, warm rooms, or a system that can’t keep up may call for professional cooling service.

  • Older or failing equipment can be replaced with a properly planned AC installation.

  • When cooling stops during hot weather, AC repair can address the problem before indoor temperatures keep climbing.

  • Mansfield winters put steady demand on furnaces, boilers, and other equipment, making timely heating services especially important before deep cold arrives.

  • Unusual furnace noises, short cycling, or uneven warmth can signal the need for furnace repair.

  • An aging heating system that struggles each winter may be a candidate for furnace installation.

  • Homeowners interested in electric heating and cooling can consider heat pump installation, while existing systems can be addressed through heat pump repair.

  • Older homes, additions, and rooms where adding conventional ductwork is difficult may be good candidates for ductless mini-splits.

Book heating or cooling service when your Mansfield home starts having trouble staying comfortable.

Plumbing

Freezing winter temperatures, aging fixtures, water heater wear, and everyday household use can all lead to plumbing problems in Mansfield. Small leaks deserve attention before they spread into flooring, cabinets, ceilings, or finished basement areas.

Mansfield also operates a municipal water system with ongoing flushing, service repair, and water-line programs through its DPW. That municipal infrastructure sits on the other side of the property line from the pipes and fixtures homeowners depend on every day.

  • Dripping fixtures, low pressure, pipe trouble, toilet problems, and other household issues can be handled through professional plumbing repair services.

  • Inconsistent hot water, leaks around the tank, or an aging unit may call for water heater repair.

  • Water appearing around walls, ceilings, cabinets, or basement areas should be investigated with water leak repair before the damage spreads.

Reach out when a Mansfield plumbing problem needs more than a temporary fix.

Electrical

Electrical needs can change considerably as a house changes. Finished basements, remodeled kitchens, heat pumps, central air equipment, home offices, and electric vehicles can add demand that an older electrical system was never designed to carry.

That matters around an established community such as Mansfield, which dates to 1775 and still contains historic properties alongside newer development. A panel or circuit that handled yesterday’s household loads may need attention before another major electrical appliance is added.

  • Outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, panels, and other household power needs are covered by Landry Mechanical’s electrical services.

  • Breakers that trip repeatedly, dead outlets, flickering lights, or other unexplained issues can be diagnosed through electrical repair and troubleshooting.

  • Homeowners preparing for an electric vehicle can schedule EV charger installation and have the existing electrical capacity evaluated as part of the project.

Schedule electrical service before a recurring power problem turns into a larger repair.

Drain & Sewer

Wastewater infrastructure varies across Mansfield. The town maintains sewer facilities and connections, while some properties use private septic systems regulated under Title 5. Mansfield requires permits for work involving municipal sewer connections and repairs, so homeowners dealing with repeated drainage trouble benefit from first understanding what is happening on their property.

For sewer-connected homes, a slow drain may be a simple fixture-level clog, but several drains backing up at once can point to a problem farther down the line. Established properties can also encounter buildup, damaged piping, or root intrusion that ordinary plunging will not correct.

  • Recurring backups, slow sinks, and tubs that refuse to clear can be addressed through professional drain and sewer service.

  • Hair, soap residue, grease, and other buildup can often be removed with drain cleaning.

  • Heavy deposits inside suitable piping may call for hydro jetting to clear the inside of the line more thoroughly.

  • When the cause of a recurring backup isn’t obvious, a sewer camera inspection can help locate blockages or damaged sections.

  • Cracked, deteriorated, or obstructed piping may require sewer line repair or replacement rather than another temporary clearing.

Get drain or sewer service scheduled when backups keep returning or several fixtures begin draining poorly at once.

Ivan came to my house to do my fall maintenance service. You can't ask for a better person! He explained everything he was doing as he did it. Felt more at ease with him testing the part of the systems he was checking, knowing the values that the systems need to run at, and making sure they are working.

I will be asking for him from now on to service my system.

What did I pay? I pay $20 a month for a service contract and get 2 maintenance checkups, per year, free. Also an emergency call is a flat fee of $299 or $399 each call (Can't remember which one it was). If you have the contract, you pay $99 for the call, plus whatever work and parts they need.

Great company as long as they have people like Ivan. I only gave him 5 stars because i was prevented from giving him 10 stars.

Working with Landry was very easy. I most appreciate that they send a picture of the technicians, along with a background check clearance before anyone comes to the house. Friendly, professional, and thorough. Cost is given up front with no surprises.

I had a leaking connection on my water heater. The technician came and assessed and gave me options to repair or replace but said I could probably get a few more years out of the tank. He provided 3 quotes. Repair only. Replace with new tank. Replace with a tankless water heater. No push to go with. Full replacement which I appreciated. Friendly, professional, respect for my property. All things I look for.

I had a fantastic experience with Sam and Nick from Landry. Both were highly professional electricians who went above and beyond.

They took the time to clearly explain the safety benefits of arc fault breakers, which was incredibly helpful. Their expertise was proven almost immediately when one of the new breakers tripped, signaling a real issue in my home's wiring. Sam and Nick quickly troubleshot the problem, identified some poor workmanship from a previous contractor, and fixed it on the spot. Once repaired, the breaker worked perfectly.

They also moved an outlet over to another wall for me and did a beautiful, seamless job. I highly recommend Landry Mechanical, and specifically Sam and Nick, for any electrical needs in the Worcester area!

We came home from vacation to find that our hot water heater had died and was leaking all over our utility room. I called up Landry, and they had a technician come out within about an hour, and we had a new hot water heater a few hours later! They were extremely professional and thorough, and left our house clean. We will definitely use them again!

Landry have done absolutely outstanding work again. I've written prior positive reviews, so I won't go into detail here. Landry replaced two large pressure tanks in our water treatment system. In summary: Extremely pleasant trustworthy reliable workers. This time they threw in replacement of a leaking water intake pipe - copper with brass fittings - for free.

Landry Mechanical just wrapped up the installation of a heat pump at my home. Normally, I’m not a testimonial giver, but I was so pleased with the team who came and the service I received that I felt compelled to do it this time. Wonderful transparency throughout the entire process – – from assistance with paperwork through scheduling, and then through the installation itself…. And then, before they left, ensuring I was comfortable with the equipment, including how to use the new thermostat.

The entire time the crew was on site, they were incredibly focused on delivering a quality product along with a quality installation, and took great care to ensure they kept our home clean of debris, both inside and out.

I’m not planning on a second heat pump for the other zone in my house, but if the need does arise, I know I will be calling Landry Mechanical again.

I had technicians Nick and Ricky at my house today to install hot water heater. These gentlemen are first class, extremely courteous, very nice to work with. And in my 130 year old house they were thrown curveball after curveball and knocked it out of the park every time. These guys did a great job.I recommend Landry Mechanical any day of the week.

Landry helped to resolve a problem with my boiler quickly. The initial evaluation showed the new boiler was working fine but lacked the electrical connected needed to fire up. Thankfully, Landry offers electrical services too so another tech was able to quickly wire a new connection and get us fired up in time for the cold. Thanks for the great service! Both technicians were friendly and knowledgeable
